Debora A. Hartman joined the firm in September 1997. She has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting.
Debora is a 1987 graduate of Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. In addition, Debora received her Master of Taxation degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in August, 2000.
From 1988 to mid 1991 Debora worked in public accounting for a local firm specializing in tax accounting for small to medium sized businesses and individuals. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 1992.
In 1991, Debora began her own small accounting firm which she operated from her home while caring for her young children. During this time, she increased her skills in various accounting software packages. She is now proficient in Quickbooks, Quickbooks Pro, Peachtree, and EasyAccounting software, as well as most office software packages.
Debora’s experience includes individual and business accounting and tax services, Federal income tax research, as well as state tax research, estate tax return preparation, management consulting and advisory services and representation before the Internal Revenue Service on individual and business matters.

She has served as co-chairman for the Young CPA Task Force of the San Antonio Chapter of CPAs. She also actively volunteers at her children's schools. And for many years she taught Sunday school for elementary and middle school aged children. She and her husband, Adam, currently serve on the board of the Ronald Reagan High School Diamondbacker Association, the athletic booster club for the high school.
Debora and her family attend Community Bible Church.
